Visit of iNavigate to NeurotechEU partner Bogazici University

At the end of February 2023, a delegation from the iNavigate consortium visited NeurotechEU partner Bogazici University
 
iNavigate provides innovative, brain-inspired solutions for intelligent navigation and robotic mobility but also is at the center of international and multidisciplinary training, at the intersection of biology and engineering for intersectoral knowledge transfer. The iNavigate team included Assoc. Prof. Daniela Schulz (incoming coordinator), Dr. Otar Akanyeti (Aberystwyth University, United Kingdom), Prof. William Megill (Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, Germany) and Prof. Daniela Danciou (University of Craiova, Romania). 
 
During the meetings, the partners agreed to cooperate in planning future endeavors, such as targeted staff skill development on dimensions of neurotechnology with an emphasis on neuromorphic control and robotics, together with arranging common workshops and a summer school event in the future. On behalf of Bogazici University, NeurotechEU members included Prof. Can Yücesoy (Bogazici coordinator), Prof. Necati Aras,  Prof. Arzu Çelik and Assoc. Prof. Esin Öztürk Işık.
