The 44 European Universities Alliances and their rectors will gather in Brussels on January 30th and 31st, with Mariya Gabriel, European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education, Youth and Sport, in attendance.
Coordinator Paul Verschure attends the in-person meeting in Brussels on behalf of NeurotechEU. This gathering provides a unique platform for these experts to share their insights and vision for the future of higher education in Europe and worldwide.
On the first day, the rectors will be given the opportunity to exchange good practices with the other alliances and to discuss challenges and their vision for European Universities. The Director-General of Education, Youth, Culture and Sport, Themis Christophidou, will kick off the second day of the meeting, followed by a meeting between Commissioner Mariya Gabriel and the rectors of the European University Alliances. This will be followed by a high-level open dialogue between the rectors and Commissioner Gabriel.
