Speaker: Dr. Margret Bülow, PD on "Organelle contact sites in axons and their role in neuron differentiation and function".
Margret Bülow and her lab focus on organelle networks and their impact on nutrient signaling pathways and metabolic homeostasis. Her lab studies how peroxisomal metabolism defines the properties of cell membranes, how peroxisomal metabolites signal in the diet-microbiota-gut-brain-axis and how they influence mitochondrial activity.
