The University of Bonn announces Scholarships for Intensive German Language Course

The University of Bonn is pleased to announce that, for the eigth time, it will be awarding 8 scholarships to NeurotechEU students (BA, MA, PhD) from partner universities. These scholarships are for the Intensive German language course scheduled for March 2026.

Scholarship Details:

  • Amount: €1,300
  • Usage: The scholarship can be used to cover travel expenses and subsistence costs. The course fee is already covered.
  • Funding: The scholarships are funded by DAAD.
  • Course Information:
  • Dates: March 4th – 26th, 2025
  • Schedule: 9:00 am – 12:15 pm
  • Classes: 56 units (1 unit = 45-minute class session)
  • Levels: All levels (mandatory online placement test)

Additionally, there will be a neuroscience-related event for course participants.

Application Details: Candidates are required to submit their applications by December 19, 2025. To apply, please send the following documents by email to Mrs. Uta Brus:

  • Official Transcript of Records (list of grades and ECTS)
  • Curriculum Vitae (in English or German)
  • Copy of ID card or passport
  • Short statement: “Why bother learning German when everything is in English” (approx. 250 words)
