Scholarships’ call for pursuing the Master in Neuroscience at the Institute for Neuroscience CSIC-UMH
The Institute for Neurosciences, a joint centre of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and the UMH Sant Joan d’Alacant (Spain), offers up to 5 International Scholarships for the “Master’s Degree in Neurosciences: from the bench to the bedside” for the 2026/2027 academic year.
Candidates of all nationalities are eligible, with a preference for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology/Biomedicine related disciplines, although degrees in any STEM discipline will be considered. The undergraduate GPA record has to be equal to or above 8/10, and previous international mobility and/or research experience will be highly valued.
Successful candidates will receive economic support that includes:
- Monthly stipend of €800
- Full coverage of Master’s tuition fees
- Relocation grant
Interested candidates should submit the following documents to so_scholar@umh.es by March 5, 2026:
- Passport (PDF version)
- CV (no longer than one page)
- Diploma and academic records (dates, subjects, credits, and qualifications of Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees), including average grade obtained and the scale applied.
- A motivation letter in English (no longer than one page), indicating three Research Groups (https://in.umh-csic.es/en/research/research-units/) in which the interested ones would like to carry out their Master’s experimental work, and a justification for their choice
