Raúl Reina awarded by the International Paralympic Committee for his research and knowledge transfer work
From the European University of Brain and Technology – NeurotechEU – we would like to congratulate Raúl Reina on receiving the International Paralympic Committee award, which recognizes his significant contribution to research and knowledge transfer in the field of Paralympic sport.
Professor at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche, and also a member of the NeurotechEU working group on equal opportunities, Reina has made significant contributions to the classification of athletes with cerebral palsy, developing systems that have improved the sporting practice of these athletes. Furthermore, Reina is one of the 24 international experts in the working group that has contributed to the development of the new Classification Code in Paralympic Sport over the past three years.
Thus, the NeurotechEU European alliance congratulates him on this recognition, which highlights the impact of his work on the development of innovative research applied to sports for people with different abilities.
