Apply now! NeurotechEU Innovation Internship Program - Associated Partners
This special call invites bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD students across the NeurotechEU alliance to engage with interdisciplinary environments where neuroscience meets innovation, offering hands-on experience alongside both academic and industry mentors. Through collaboration with NeurotechEU-associated partners, participants will explore real-world challenges, contribute to ongoing projects, and develop skills that bridge scientific knowledge with practical application.
Participants will be selected to join this international experience between June and September 2026. The program aims to strengthen professional development, expand cross-border networks, and support students in discovering diverse career paths within neurotechnology and beyond. By fostering collaboration across institutions and sectors, the initiative reflects NeurotechEU’s vision of empowering the next generation of researchers and innovators.
The internships will be offered in two formats:
1. Standard Internship
Focus: Observation, Experiential Learning & Training. This track provides a comprehensive introduction to a professional NTEU environment. It is designed for students looking to sharpen their skills through direct observation of workflows and structured training within industrial or academic partners.
2. Value Creation Internship
Focus: Problem Solving & Strategic Innovation. In this format, students are assigned to a specific, real-life challenge faced by the host institution. This is a project-based internship where the student is expected to develop a feasible solution. To ensure a successful outcome, the specific project scope is regulated by the host Associated Partner based on the applicant’s unique profile and expertise.
