UMF Winter School of Clinical Neurotechnology
The ”Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca (UMF Cluj) is pleased to announce the Winter School of Clinical Neurotechnology, organized within the framework of NeurotechEU. The event will take placebetween 23–26 February 2026 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
About the Winter School
The Winter School offers Bachelor, Master, and PhD students an opportunity to engage with both modern and classical approaches to clinical neuroscience. Through a combination of lectures, workshops, and practical demonstrations, participants will gain valuable insights into neurological evaluation techniques and innovative neurotechnologies. The program also includes intercultural experiences and an introduction to Romanian culture.

Program Structure
Over the course of four days, the Winter School will feature:
- Expert lectures and interactive workshops
- Clinical demonstrations
- Group work and case-based learning
- Romanian language workshops
- Intercultural activities
Participation and Application
The Winter School is open to students from NeurotechEU partner universities. Each partner institution may nominate three participants. Synapses participants are particularly encouraged to apply.

- Application process: Nominations should be sent by the sending university to neurotecheu.mobility@brainscience.ro. Selection is carried out at the home institution.
Costs and Accommodation

- Funding: Covered by the sending universities
- Accommodation: Not provided, but guidance will be available upon request
