Update: Autumn School of Clinical Neurotechnology rescheduled for February 2026
The Iuliu Hațieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca informs that the Autumn School of Clinical Neurotechnology, initially planned for November 2025, has been rescheduled for February 2026.
The change was made for organisational reasons, in order to ensure optimal coordination and high-quality delivery of all planned activities.
All students who have already expressed their interest will automatically be considered for the new period and will receive further details once the updated schedule is confirmed.
We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming participants to Cluj-Napoca in February 2026 for an inspiring and engaging edition of the Winter School of Clinical Neurotechnology.

The ā€¯Iuliu HaČ›ieganuā€¯ University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca (UMF Cluj) is pleased to announce the Autumn School of Clinical Neurotechnology, organized within the framework of NeurotechEU. The event will take place 24ā€“27 November 2025 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
About the Autumn School
The Autumn School offers Bachelor, Master, and PhD students an opportunity to engage with both modern and classical approaches to clinical neuroscience. Through a combination of lectures, workshops, and practical demonstrations, participants will gain valuable insights into neurological evaluation techniques and innovative neurotechnologies. The program also includes intercultural experiences and an introduction to Romanian culture.

Program Structure
Over the course of four days, the Autumn School will feature:
- Expert lectures and interactive workshops
- Clinical demonstrations
- Group work and case-based learning
- Romanian language workshops
- Intercultural activities
Participation and Application
The Autumn School is open to students from NeurotechEU partner universities. Each partner institution may nominate three participants. Synapses participants are particularly encouraged to apply.

- Application process: Nominations should be sent by the sending university to neurotecheu.mobility@brainscience.ro. Selection is carried out at the home institution.
Costs and Accommodation
- Participation fee: None
- Funding: Covered by the sending universities
- Accommodation: Not provided, but guidance will be available upon request
