Creative NeurotechEU Calendar contest
How would you capture the human side behind your daily work in science? The UMH Synapses Club challenges you with the 1st edition of the Creative NeurotechEU Calendar contest. The theme of this photography competition is “Exploring the Human Side in Daily Scientific Work within NeurotechEU”.
Twelve pictures and their texts will be selected to be part of the first NeurotechEU calendar, which will be distributed digitally and in a limited edition printed and distributed through the alliance’s eight European universities. They will also be shared through the NeurotechEU social media channels.

Who can participate? The competition is open to every active member of one of the allied universities of NeurotechEU.
How can you participate? To participate you have to fill out -with an institutional email- and send this Google Form by July 15th, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. CEST. All requirements and additional information are included in the rules document.
What should the picture communicate? The challenge is to highlight in a creative way the human part behind your daily work in a scientific field and one of the following information: the scientific activity, equipment and facilities used for acquisition or technologies that result from scientific progress.
Timeline of the contest:
- Participation: Since March 3, 2025, until July 15, 2025.
- Winner announcement: November 5, 2025.
