NeurotechEU attends the 6th International Conference on NeuroRehabilitation
The Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) and the European University of Brain and Technology –NeurotechEU– collaborated in the sixth edition of the International Conference on NeuroRehabilitation (ICNR). The congress was held in La Granja de San Ildefonso (Segovia) from the 5th of November to the 8th.
Attending the congress alongside JosĂ© MarĂa AzorĂn, Director of the UMH Brain-Machine Interface Systems Lab, were UMH professor Eduardo Iáñez MartĂnez and UMH doctoral student Vicente Quiles Zamora. Conference participants had the opportunity to engage in up to 25 workshops covering topics such as the use of multimodal technologies in disease assessment, robotic rehabilitation, control of myoelectric prostheses, and co-creation methodologies with patients for neurorehabilitation technologies.
Each year, the ICNR brings together researchers and students in clinical rehabilitation, applied neurophysiology, and biomedical engineering. It focuses on technologies to restore sensory, motor, and cognitive functions through electronic and mechatronic systems – combining mechanics, electronics, control, and computing.
