Join the ERC Project EMERGENCE: New Research Positions in the Network Neuroscience of Language

Radboud University has opened two positions within the ERC funded project EMERGENCE, an ambitious research programme investigating how human language emerges from large scale brain networks. Both roles are embedded in the Donders Centre for Cognition and contribute to a shared research agenda, with each position having its own focus and requirements.

PhD Position – Network Neuroscience of Language

This PhD role offers the opportunity to work with multimodal neuroimaging, advanced connectomics and computational modelling to explore individual differences in language organisation. The position is part of the Donders Graduate School and the International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS), providing a rich training environment for early‑career researchers.

Postdoctoral Researcher – Network Neuroscience of Language

The postdoc position is aimed at an independent researcher ready to lead advanced analysis pipelines, develop multimodal network models and contribute to the conceptual development of the EMERGENCE project. The role involves close collaboration across institutes and offers the opportunity to mentor junior researchers within the team.

Both positions offer the chance to join an international, interdisciplinary research community working at the forefront of cognitive and systems neuroscience.
